Some Books Empty Re: Some Books

Post by Afua Sun May 31, 2009 9:26 pm

Well i've read a vampire novel a while ago, it was called Night world Volume 1
I wouldn't say it was the greatest books not compared to blue bloods, twilight and house of night series.

The book is very predictable.. its like 3 stories in one.

I am only getting the next book beacuse the beginning of it sounds soo good.

Besides that A place not home is a pretty good book about hungarian people during world war 2 i think not sure i've read that book about 2 years a ago.

Now i'm just waiting for these novels to come out.

The Van Allen Legacy (Blue bloods)
Midnight Sun (twlight)
Tempted (HoN series)

I read the first 2 stories in Night World and I agree. Predictable. But I was happy to read it without so much...suspense? I don't know. They were OK.
Anyway, have you read the Morganville Vampire series? They are AWESOME. I'm not going to say the best because picking the best or my favorite rather is just to hard for me but there definatly up there with my Must Reads.
The first one is Glass Houses by Rachel Caine.
And I love the House of Night series too!

I read the night world to i agree with you guys.

The best sotry out of the three though was the second one with the girl and the wolf and the vamp. The only thing that is kinda cool about the night world series is even though they are totally different stories some how some characters come back in each and you have to try and remember what that character was like example, shape shifter, witch, vamp or wolf.

Twilight was my first vamp book. The Twilight series opened up the world of reading for me and for that I'll always ahve a place for them in my heart (Thanks Steph) but I have read much better things than Twilight sense then but that's just my opinion. I think I love Blue Bloods better...
I've read the Maximum Ride series! But after the third one they're not as good...
What happened?
has anyone read the Forest of Hands and Teeth?
That's an awesome book!
